About

Welcome to The Island of Tina Garceau

You’ve washed ashore on a sun-bleached atoll of paper scraps, vintage ephemera, and digital daydreams—where butterflies hatch from old boots and every edge whispers a secret. This is tinagarceau.com, the private studio of Tina Garceau: collage conjurer, illustrator extraordinaire, photographer of hidden details, and designer who turns the ordinary into the unforgettable.

What Washes Up Here

  • Collage Kingdoms: Layered worlds built from forgotten photos, typed confessions, and ink-stained secrets—each piece a puzzle begging you to linger.
  • Illustrations with Bite: Delightful digital delineations that blend whimsy and wit, from Mother’s Day cards that tug heartstrings to editorial cartoons that sell stories.
  • Photo Fragments: Snaps from the streets, the markets and beyond, capturing the raw poetry of the neighborhoods and the people of the City of Philadelphia
  • Titanic Team Ups: Collaborative gems with partner-in-crime Joe Williams from colorful comic strips to electrified Halloween costumes.

The Artist
Tina Garceau graduated from the Philadelphia College of Art with a major in illustration. Her real education came from scissors, glue, and the thrill of reinvention. She’s illustrated books like The Grey Man series by J.L.Curtis, editorial illustrations for the City’s major newspapers, and built a lifelong love affair with collage—from analog cut-ups in the ’80s to Photoshop symphonies today. Tina’s work isn’t just art; it’s an invitation to remix your own reality, one snippet at a time.

Leave your blank page at the water’s edge. Dive in. The layers are endless, the stories are yours to uncover, and the only monsters here are the friendly kind—in top hats and mustaches.
